Spring 2023 / For Fashion Institute of Technology’s Spring 2023 AAS Capstone Final “Crafted”

Inspired by FKA Twigs’s song Meta Angel, imagining who is the higher being I seek guidance from — my beloved Filipino ancestors.

Dress and embroidered veil designed and made by me. 10 yards of hand crocheted lace trim by me as well. Stitching techniques inspired by traditional Filipino clothing and imagery of melting candles.
